While waiting for our last stop on our tour of the Mekong to wrap up, we went for a walk. We passed by this house, where a lady was playing with her little boy. We said hello, and she waved us over. We kept going but then turned around, as we suspected this could be a nice chance to get to know a local. She smiled...and handed me her baby to hold. He was cute, but he wanted his mommy. I hung out and played badmitton with the father. They invited us to eat with them, but seeing that they all seemed awfully skinny and we didn't have anything to share with us, we declined. They were so nice.
