We toured a historic house in Hoi An. Admission is free, and the house is owned by a man who's family has lived in the house for several generations. His father was a South Vietnamese professor who was sent to re-education camps when the North won. He lost everything but this house, since an ancestral home could not be taken from Southerners when the new government took over. He later moved to Boston.
