hello everyone hope you are all well. since we last wrote we have taken a ferry to the south island which yes is considerably colder than the north island, and we all managed to catch a cold which beth and charlie are still suffreing from. we arrived in nelson which is the sunnyest place in NZ but has little else. that evening we were dragged kicking and screaming to the karyoke, which turned out to be very entertaining as this silly girl was doing some silly dance moves and her silly fake hair piece fell off very entertaining. we then moved swiftly on to able tasmin national park where we went on a boat trip and saw seals (yay) and then a pod of dolphins turned up as well they were really cool but also a little scary (giant fish ahhh) we attempted to take some photos but if you have ever tryed to take photos of wild life it is not easy at all. The next day we went to another seal colony (yay) and on to get a fancy dress outfit (from a charity shop) for the kiwi bus tarts and vicars party. Clare and Charlie went as tarts and beth went as a tarty vicar. The next day we were on our way to Franz Josef glacier here we stayed in the coldest hostel ever in the whole world , you would think they would have heating being at the bottom of a glacier but no. we then went on a heliflopter on the the glacier and played around up there for 2 hours it was really cool climbing around in all the ice. the next day we got the bus to Queenstown, where we are now. yesterday beth and charlie went on the shotover jet which goes at 70 km/hour and does 360 spins. which according to beth is a very good cure for a hang over. Then they went hang gliding which had some amasing views and was great fun. meanwile i went and bungy jumped i did Nevis 134m high it was the most scary thing i have ever done but was absolutly amasing and i would recomend it to every one. (sorry mum). after all that we had worked up a real appitite so went to the best piza bar in the world (winnies for any one comming to Queenstown). we are hopefully going to the -5 bar where everything is made of ice even the glasses. hope you are all well lots of love clare, beth and charlie xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
