Again apologies for the seattle pic! none of san fran either...!!

Right, arrived in san fran for lunch at fishermans whalf. Really lovely city, doesn't really feel like you are in America though for some reason. Tried the famous clam chowder for lunch which was actually really good. When then had a quick look at the seals on pier 39 before heading off for our city tour. First of all we drove up the steep hill used in a lot of movies when the cars come flying over the top. Then onto the bendiest street in the world! It basically zig zags all the way down n was to narrow for our bus to go down. Was actually very pretty with posh house either side. Then we drove over the Golden Gate bridge and back again stopping at a fabulous viewpoint for group pics! We then drove down market street where all the shops are and out to the Park and the 'alternative district' which name i have forgot!! Next we visited another park which looks over the famous victorian house used in tons of pics apparantely. Final stop was at the two hills lookout over the city. Was lovely view of the city and the bay, just a shame my bloody camera broke!!

In the eve we all went out for a group meal and a few drinks.

My final day!!!! Up early and headed over with some of the others to ALkatraz the old prison out on a island. Once there I did the audio tour all around the prison cells, solitary confinment, the dinning room, wash rooms and the outside. From the island you get a wicked view of the city so worth it for that. However being into all that is crimey things I really enjoyed it. The tour gave you a lot of detail of the different prisoners who had stayed there and also spoke about some of the attempts on escape.

In the afternoon I walked around some of the many shops in the city and Pier 39, caught a San Fran cable car (tram) and bought myself a abercrombie bag for the plane. In the eve I got a taxi from my hotel over to the hostel where the ozzie girls were staying. Most of the group met there and they cooked us a lovely dinner with some wine. Really good way to end the trip and my travels for that matter!! Can't believe its all coming to an end. Only skking to go!!
