at last i hear you say, bout time he bloody updated us with whats been going on. Well we flew into Sydney, at 10 in the morning on the sunday and were flying up to brisbane at 5, well thats what we thought untill we got to the airport to check in and they told us that our flight was delayed by 4 hours. The only other option was to fly to goldcoast or wait so we phoned Kevin (titman) - lets just quickly introduce the Titman Family to you. Right first there's John Titman(famous aussie speedway rider and founder of JTR), Anne(mother Titman), Kevin(son of John and Anne, now runs JTR?) Debbie(kevs wife who is looking after us) Layla(kev and deb's daughter, 3yr old chatter box and knotty's best friend) Henry(their son who i belive is 7months maybe?) -- so kev said that he'd drive the hour out of his way to pick us up from The Gold Coast, so that we could make it to a gig that he had got us tickets for. Well the flight to gold coast was another hour delay so we ended up arriving much later than planned and with a rush to get back for the start of the gig. Kev picked us up from the airport then rushed us back to see 'The Screaming Jets' which for him is like my Kings of Leon. The gig was pretty good, old skool rock music, like ACDC i reckon but he'll probably tell me different. The lead singer was a complete nutter but entertained the crowd and even had the Knottster up the front with KT jumping round like looney's, not a bad effort from knotty when you consider he's never heard of them. So the next day with bad hangovers kev took us out to see the sights and explain the area's. This is where the special relationship between Knotty and Layla started, with me driving kev passenger and Knotty and Layla in the back, bless her. She's very sweet and after every stop insisted she wanted knotty to sit with her. Well we drove to the Gold Coast where it was pissing down but in the afternoon the sun came out so we went for a walk along a beach that at the right tide leads to an island. After leaving there we drove round some more then went to the new JTR workshop where we were introduced to the work force. The next day we had arranged to do a bit of work for some cash and were moving some bits between their old workshop and the new, yea first days work for how many weeks, exactly. But it wasnt to bad altho the heat created a bit of sweating. Most of the evenings are a case of having a swim in the pool, some food then a few rum and cokes, perfection. Wednesday we headed into the city for some shopping which went rather well and some looking about which till the heavens opened was great. The rain was pretty bad and created some problems for others. but not us, thankfully no flooding here. Thursday in payment for work we booked up to go to seaworld and to do a underwater adventure whcih was basically us in wetsuits and big glass helmet breather tank things, like having a fish bowl on ya head that you could breathe under water in and walking round one of there enclosures with the sea life around us. Now we knew there were some little sharks in there, not the type that eat you(they were next door) but still they were sharks. before the adventure we had a wander round the "shark Bay" and looked in the under water bits which are pretty cool, saw the big man eating sharks and some of the smaller one, Lepard sharks which i assured knotty we wouldnt be in with.....Ha what the hell do i no. So we went and got suited up only us two doing it untill half way through the breifing a rather large chap followed by a camera crew burst into the room and introduced him self as Coxsy. Sat in silence and at this point completely confussed the briefing ended and we were asked 'any questions' to which my reply was, what the bloody hells going on. 1 minute were doing this thing the next were going to be on some tv program. Well Coxsy is an aussie guy from victoria that travels around the world making programs about different places, 'Coxsy wild Adventures; or something like that we were told. Anyway back to the trip. Suited up we were lead to the eclosure and had our helmets put on so we could walk 3 meters in the water, like scuba diving but not swimming, walking. Well off we went fish bowls on our heads weights on our legs to keep us down walking in the huge encloser surrounded by fish baby sharks and god knows what else, the instructor/ guide took us right up to the glass seprating us from the bullnose? sharks, you no the ones that eat ya. they were like 5feet away swimming past. We walked on to find some more stuff and blow me, round the corner were those huge lepard sharks, oh ok maybe we will be in with them then. Huge. amazing things. its impossible to put into words what it was like having them around ya, the complete trip was awesome and maybe a little crazy but without a doubt one of the best experiences i've ever done. and i'd have to do it again. at one point we could see people standing where we had stood earlier watching the sharks, you no where i had told knotty we wouldnt be in with those one's. after out of the water we had a chat with Coxsy who said it was one of the best sealife experiences he'd been on which means it must be good. Well it turns out that his show is only on tv in melbourne victoria and most asian places so we will never find out if were film stars haha.
I'm gonna finish now cause i gotta get ready to go out, i still got more to tell you bout seaworld so i'll update soon.
Hope everyones well
Benny and Knotty no molly now xx
