We are now at the end of our Thailand trip, sorry we havent done this sooner but here is what we have done in a nut shell...

we started our trip in Bangkok met up with the other guys who were on our trek (Rami,Stephen,Ann,Frauke,Katarina) and then headed North to Chang Mai. Went on a 3 day trek to the hill tribes, did some hiking, rode an elephant,bambo rafted down the river and even played football with the local kids(don`t think they have heard of half time refreshments!!!) We stayed in wooden huts on bamboo beds, they had no running water (we washed in the river!) and no electricity, and our leader chai and his mate rambo cooked for us remember no electricity they were cooking by candle light!.Had a great time a real eye opener!

Made our way back to chang mai after the trek, had a good night out! managed to find a bar that plays led zeppelin covers, bonus! we also went to a real Thai Boxing match (those guys are hardcore)

Back to bangkok after our 14hr train journey (oh what fun). Bangkok is amazing so much going on and the smell of boiling fish in the morning along the streets is not pleasant before breakfast! Loads to see in Bangkok

We then headed south on an over night bus to the island of koh tao with 2 german girls from the trek! Not much to do there except lay on the beach if your not diving! Ended up staying for 3 days, hired a motor bike to get around the island(roads are more like farm tracks)and got sunburn on the first day! had some good nights out on the beach dancing with your feet in the sea!

On we went to Ko Samui staying on lamai beach, now this island is nothing like koh tao! Its full of fat hulk hogan look alikes with little thai girls on the back of there motor bikes!! cheesy bars and bad food so as you probably guessed we didnt stay there for long.

next up was Krabi Town this was totally different ..... friendly people , a cheap night market to eat dinner and a family run guest house called cha. we took a trip to hong island where we kayaked , snorkeled and went to paradise island where we layed on a beach....ben got bitten by a fish when he was in the water!!

we are now in phuket town after a crazy trip in a minibus (the man was a loon) we are only here 2 nights as we are heading to hong kong for a week. Phuket town isnt that interesting maybe the beaches are better!
