ott & belle (or nicola jane as you shall now be referred) - good to have some updates. Touch of writers block?
Cracking updates from the "Bode" - got to love the sceptics. Leaders of the free world
I incorrectly read your blog entry. "Sleazy as it may sound, its part of the Cambodian nightlife experience, and after copious amounts of local brew...I dabbled on the other side". When in Rome Stuart.
Also good to see english politeness has gone out the window. We're an island race, and don't be forgetting it. Speaking of England - I watched "This Is England" last night. Its a fantastic film - Nige, I'll call you tonight to discuss in more detail.
Nicola Jane - Apparently its your birthday sometime around now. Happy Birthday, belated or otherwise.
Not sure how long you've got left on your travels, but hope everything is go well.
Up it!
win

Alright Stu/Nic,
As your ghost writer I have not had the info to write the posting re the killing fields as soon as you mail me I will give it the treatment. I hope you did'nt mind me playing up the fear factor of the been on a beach hit by a tusnami but artistic licence in a wonderful thing!
The vibe has been tight back here too, we went to didsbury the other week as the Rat was back for the weekend I only stayed for the meal but I am lead to believe old habits die hard with the Rat up to his old tricks which was class, the skull has not changed he is still ballder than you stu or have you grown your hair round the sides ala Robbie Savage to go with your shark tooth necklace? Nid did what all good mates do when back at a house broke things and caused a slight issue for the accenture IT nerds following his use of the internet through Chris's laptop!
Win I can confirm still works the longest hours know to man and he is not doing the marathon. Poor mid week coms from Win and he does'nt even have a phone curffu like a few of the lads!
Enjoy Zealand and San Fran, I presume SF was your choice Stu any opportunity to camp it up!

hello you two!!!!
thanks for getting out of your pit early to phone us Nicola, it was lovely to hear your voice. We had just gone to bed early as you know we are not renowned night owls, but it was a little earlier than normal as dad had been on mornings and was falling asleep on the settee!
good job we did as our darling Autumn decided to have a bad night due to a troubling cough. We forgave her though as she had kept us amused all day. One of the highlights being her need to turn herself round in circles until she makes herself dizzy enough to fall over!! she also likes to put my hat on and walk round the room bumping into things as the hat is way too big for her!!!
big news on the abernethy household, the washing machine has died! of course being people that can't just go out and buy one we have to research 8 million sites on the internet and go to several shops several times over comparing and contrasting, don't worry though we will have one installed before you return (I hope!)
I know I have emailed you but thanks for the birthday pressey, I will use it to conjur up some culinary delights.
you have had 2 more interesting parcels delivered and I have resisted the temptation to open them.
on the family front nana Rita is doing fine, nana Net has had a bad cold but is getting better now, unfortunately Sophie has gone to the great cats home in the sky.
hope the Whitsun islands prove interesting hope to talk to you next weekend. Love you and miss youxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi you two
Thank you so much for the Christmas pressies. It was a lovely surprise,my scarf is beautiful and I now have TWO photos of you both.Such riches!!Iknow Stu--- you hate having your photo taken.Well done Nic for making him do it. Christmas here was very quiet. We went to the B.C. in the morning where Pikey ran a special Bingo game which was hysterical.NYE was as usual in Broughton.Hundreds of folk, brilliant fireworks, despite the weather, and the last pub to close was of course the B.C. at 0635.Your Dad and I retired hurt at around 4,we must be getting old or something!!!!
We trust you are still having a brill time in Oz.Where exactly are you now? Give our love to Chiara and Joel.Keep safe XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Hi you two.
So sorry I have been completely rubbish by not putting any messages on this page. I have enjoyed reading about your travels though when I eventually figured out that the email wasn't from a travel company trying to sell me a dodgy holiday!!!!
YOur trip sounds fab.......very envious. Did you manage to get to the opera bar for new year?
All good here. Nothing new really. Steely is good and off to America again in March for 10 weeks. Some job eh!!!!! As for me, I may just have to plan another trip to see my sister to brake the time up. You have given me itchy feet!!!!!
Anyway, keep enjoying and thanks for being so good at reporting all your antics. I do remember Stuart telling me that my travelling emails were boring but I am sure he would think differently now!!!!!
Take care, Mossy XXX

Stu Nic alright. Its me with another pseudonym!
I can confirm the Boxo turnout was first class Win I think if we get a ruling on the fall it was a slip! The general theme of the evening was walking... the wrong way! the culmination of this was going to a bar called magnet which we could not find mainly because the lights where off and it was shut. We ended up in a joint called the picket think Niche!
NYE was class with the calimity Winrow's. Neil has not mentioned that they first left the passports in Cambo and had to go back to get them before we even hit Dublin. Again we walked alot there, we did make it to the Guiness Brewery I think the best bit was the Map of the world showing the countries you can get a pint of the black stuff.
Other than that the place was full of micks poorley tarmac'd roads and teenagers riding horses round council estates.
We want heat for NYE next year or the white isle I am thinking Pacha and Space afterwards?
If you can watch The rise or the footsoldiers - good mindless violence and This is England - Win its as good as they say.
Kev a good result for Huddersfield but your no Man City
Win
Evo ottspur und belle, win here. Christmas was good. Boxo was a legendary turnout, and definately a chance to blow the old cobwebs off. Hightlight of the night was seeing Nigel trying to get up from under the table - having missed the chair he was trying to sit on.
NYE in Dublin was a good crack - me and jen missed our flight home having locked our passports in the hotel safe. They had to drill the safe to retreive them, but we got an extra day out there.
You're not that interested in how s*** work is, or how cold it is here.
Contact has been poor over the last few weeks. Have they got you both in shackles?
jog on,
win

New Year greetings to you both on this the end of the 1st week of January 2008. Im a little bemused to whther youre in Aus or Cambodia, but either or is pretty good. If its Aus then please do your best to shout at random expressions such as, "sure is eggs is eggs mate", and "ah mate whats that on yer pants". and so on.
I hope youve had a fantastic time of the NY, mine was good but lonely. However, Karen did surprise me just before Christmas as she flew over my Ma and Pa for Chrimbo, lovely stuff all round.
I also wrote a song for you both, sang in the tune of Waltzing Matilda;
Hail to the Sturat, hail to the Aber,
Hail to the monkeys climbing up the tree.
Hail to the guinea pigs playing in their paaaaaiiiiiiirrrrrns,
And hail to the badger driving down the lane.
I hope you like it, its your Christmas Present. Lots of love, Jay and Karen x
