Hi everybody.
It's a long time since our last blog. We have left Thailand behind us, at least for 1 month :o)
Our new group is nice, age between 19-35, and our cambodiaan guide is SUPER :o)
We arrived Cambodia 4 days ago. In Siem Reap we spent 1 day looking at some of all the magnificent temples, including Jungel Tempel (Angelina Jolie Tomb Raider...) and Angkor Wat to name 2 of out of at least 11 temples. Angkor Wat was build over 30+10 years, and is 1 of the 7 natural wonders. I can see why :o)
The second day we went out on a boat, to visit a small floating-village outside Siem Reap. The village here was divided in two - on one side lived the vietnames, and on the other the cambodians. It was amacing.
The third day we spent at a local cambodian family in Chamok (??). Here we slept in their houses 1 m above the ground. It was something quite different... :o)
Today we have just arrived Shianoukville, a beach-village south in Cambodia. We are looking forward to some VERY RELAXING days here. We can go for snorkelling (me) diving (Jon) and so on if the weather is ok.
We are entering Vietnam in 5 days, looking forward to see Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon).
When we have faster internet lines, we will upload more photos from Cambodia.
We hope you are all doing well, enjoying the spring (Norway), and summer (France and Germany) :o) Soon it's the 17th of May (national day in Norway), we wish you all a WONDERFUL celebration :o)
Klem M&J
