Hey, We have now moved from Pingyoun to Xian. We arrived this morning at around 11am. The train journey was 12 hours, but this time we booked a hard bed, so we slept for around 10 and a half hours which was good!!! Today we went to the muslim quarter and market. Tomorrow we plan to do the teracotta warriors and then we have a train booked from xian to chengue. The train is at 10:15pm, so tomorrow should be a bit of a busy day. We have many more pics of Beijing and lots of Pingyou, so should get them up tomorrow or the day after. Xian is a very busy city and very different from Beijing. The locals seem to be very fashion conscious with there very bad perms!!!!!!!!!!!! and designer clothes. Its very strange coming from a very old village like Pingyoun to a busy city like Xian. the train to chengue is 16 hours, but once again we have booked a hard sleeper! we are also travelling with our friends Adam and Juliette, so it should make for an enjoyable journey. We are really looking forward to Chengue as we are staying in a hostel called Mix and about 15 people from our first hostel Beijing will all be there at the same time, so should be like a Beijing reunion!!!! Once again we will try to get our Pingyoun photos up at some point tomorrow. Night!
