We arrived in Hervey Bay at about 3pm and checked into Palace Hostel. Our room here was really cool, rather than just dorms and one kitchen it was set out in units. We were in unit 4, downstairs was a living room, kitchen, bathrooms and 2 dorms then upstairs was about 4 more dorms and another bathroom. Tonight we had our first over night bus in Oz. Not looking forward to it as there is no such thing as bunk beds on the greyhound. Luckily, dealer Jody handed out sleeping tablets so we all had a good ten hours. It was funny as it was the latest we had lied in since we had arrived in Cairns. We were all as fresh as daisy's.
