What a journey. 15 hours stuck on the smallest minibus in the world plus 15 people and their luggage this has deffinatly won the prize for most cramped bus trip, however we are here, country number 3 and ready for tubing.
Here we met up with James, Jay, Jack, Jo and Zoe, the group we met on a trip in Phi Phi. As we walked down the road to the guest house, they were walking up to get their tubes. We booked in at the same place they did called Grand View Guesthouse which overlooked the river. It was amazing the beds were soooo comfy and we had DUVETS! never been so happy, the best beds we have stayed in yet and when your travelling a good bed makes everything better. We were both shattered from our journey so had a nap then headed out for food and to met the other. Literally every bar plays either family guy or friends so we were in our element laid having our tea. We sat and had a few drinksd their before heading over to bucket bar. Its more like a little club really, it had really good music and fire limbo ooohh and i got a free tshirt. Also once again we bumped into Freddie, James and Charlie which was a great suprise. We didnt stay out too late though we didnt want to be hungover for the tubing.
TUBING = THE BEST DAY EVER (well of what i can remember)
We all went and got breakfast, a random one on my part, musilie with fresh fuit yoghart and chips mmmmm. At half 2 off we went got a tubes and all loaded into the back of a tuc tuc to be taken to the start of the river. When you first get there it doesnt look like thre is much going on, but when youcross th river it was just wild. A guy from america ran this bar so as you got off the boat that took you across to the first bar they gave you a wrist band nd pour whiskey down your neck. Great way to start the day drinking. The first bar wa called bar and had all sorts of things going on, Beer pong, volley ball, whiskey train, a huge stage that just rained so everyone danced up there and all sorts of other crazy drinking games. It was so much fun we played all the games and dances like idiots.... well untill we met Mr Chow, a 50 odd year old guy from Japan, he was hilarious. He had the funniest dance moves and had everyone learning them which you will see in the pics, he was like the local hero for the rest of the week in Vang vieng. After a few beers and buckets it was on our tube to the next bar for more drinking games, spray painting and buckets. The other bars had big diving borads, rope swings and slides but by thispoint I was pretty drunk so cant remeber too much from here but from what I gather we had an amazing day.
The next 2 days we spent lounging in the bars watcing family guy and friends before we headed of to luang Probang.

Barbara & Harold Sounds incredible. It appears to involve a lot of liquid inside and out. Have you grown webbed feet yet? Love Grandma & Grandad
