Looking forward to seeing your brush with international stardom! I've been searching the web for the shot, but to no avail. Will try again now that I have the name of the hotel. Glad the piso hunt is winding down. Manana, manana, te amo, manana . . . ttpa he he

What a great day in the classroom. Two poets, one extolling the virtue of words and their power, and the other reciting the first poem I taught at the beginning of the year "Lift Every Voice and Sing" The curriculum virtually played itself out on the national stage! Not to mention the oratory skills of the new Commander in Chief! What a great role model. Hope you had a great day! ttfn LOVE Mom

Today's the big day here! Hope you and your new international friends will tune in and celebrate as the "great experiment" takes an uplifting turn onto the world stage. Si, se puede! Yes, we can! I'm thinking of you every time I see a young reporter participating in the telecasts. LOVE YOU! ttfn

You look so happy. Love the architecture and bridge into the city (imagine that in Wisconsin), but mostly the smiles of you and your friends. Adam Wolfe . . . wow! Hope you're getting your fill of the tapas. They look delicious. Joanne is sure to appreciate the vending machine of books; I know I do. ttfn

Thanks for the "Holy Toledo" pictures! You look wonderful, and it was great fun to see your classmates. An escalator up a mountain...I've seen everything now!

You are so good with words! I feel as though I'm right there with you. Yes, I agree that international flying with ones own TV makes for a much easier flight. How exciting to see Las Meninas on the first day - and for free too! Can't wait for you to be my tour guide. You must remember to describe some of the tapas for all of us. Glad you're settling in, too. LOVE YOU!

Getting busy already! I can't wait to hear more!

Like I said in the van, "A thousand mile journey begins with one step!" (Confucious maybe? he he). You've taken the step and I know you'll enjoy the ride!
I LOVE YOU and MISS YOU already! I'll be checking this site and sharing your words all spring! Sleep well, and remember, "somewhere, out there, beneath the pale moon light . . ."
