After a VERY long sleeper train ride without much sleep, we made it Varanasi this morning at about 7am. We took our first auto rickshaw ride from the train station to our hotel. Today was quite the day. We paid for a driver to take us to several sites that we were interested in seeing. We were with our driver - Harish - from 9am to 5pm. He drove us all around Delhi and it only cost us about $30 US. It was a great private little tour of the city with a very knowledgeable guide. We left our apartment at about 12pm on Saturday afternoon to get to LAX. Between the flight to Dubai, our layover, and the flight to India, we had been traveling for well over 24 hours.
