I have just read your update from Laos and it sounds wonderful - I am sure Charlotte enjoyed the moped ride in preference to the bus!

Becca celebrated her 16th birthday last week and has had her school leaving day and prom - she went to the prom in a very big limo with 15 of her friends - she is off to Newquary after her exams - GSCE's and AS levels start tomorrow for Sam and Becca

I am off to Edinburgh in a few weeks to celebrate my 50th!

Fantastic blog of the 29th. I think i can speak for all of us following your adventures, 'wish we were there'. 7 hours of 'friends' means 7 hours of drinking,! I think you did really well lasting for three days 'tubing' and pubbing! Nice to hear about the villagers and the books too. Keep up the fun, don't forget the 'real' world and work will still be waiting when you return! Ha ha!

Vietnam sounded wonderful.  The 'tailored' coat has arrived and is lovely - can't wait until we see you in it!!  We have been reading all about Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos in the Sunday Times travel supplement - I think that you'll both have a wonderful time in Laos so looking forward to your next installment. Well the rain is back again in force! quite needed though so all is good! Got your postcard this morning, so exciting getting post to the both of us! James is at garden centre today and I'm manically finishing my last pieces of work before the end of term. More news too, we've got a kitten, she's lovely and very playful, keeps us entertained, I'll email you photos! sounds like you're having an amazing time and definitely a good idea to stay longer and get it all in!

Just caught up with your travels, you seem to be flitting about almost daily..your Mum is certainly very knowledgable with all the cities and countries, just hope we get a relevant question at the quiz night! Your Mum, Jenny and I went to watch Cheltenham play footy today v. Brighton and we cheered like good uns when Cheltenham equalised! it all sounds amazing but we have a few comments we would like to make....

Firstly.... the boys r not happy that u let the man kill the Vine snake. How COULD U??? Luke may never forgive u!

Secondly ... it is VERY dangerous to sleep in a lake!

We hope u have rememberd the the rest of the advice we gave u and continue to have a very happy time.

Jay says please watch out for fresh water bull sharks.... news to me but there u go! (i've just looked it up and its true!)
