Lovely to talk to you last night. Can't wait to see the next blog and the photos. You are both so brave!!

We are up early today as we are having our Christmas gathering this evening. Dad is already busy in the kitchen cooking!! We have even got some Christmas decs up already!! Richard arrived home last night so he is on hand to help us. (His first port of call though will be the hairdressers!!).

Then off to Aunty Mave's for another get together tomorrow - so a very busy weekend.

PS Lorna has now bought a house with Lee..... they've become Tom & Barbara from the Good Life. Big plans for veggie patch and organic stuff + lots of home made wine. She's promised us a tasting session - we're going to make it a wee bit civilised and have a cheese board too!!

Hi Char, have just caught up with your travels after a long gap. Photos are great - my friend has just gone back to Brisbane - she emigrated about a year ago and came back for a visit. Was great to see her. Lots happening at work - just trying to sort plans for 2008 at the mo but unfortunately reliant on too many people so still don't know what's going on! News...? Jo is coming back in Jan after extending her maternity leave. Lily who's covering for Jo is now pregnant. Ciara had a little girl Rosie about 6 weeks ago. Matt & Becky are in USA with Emma and Andy travelling around but mainly to visit Vegas for Vicky Simpson's 30th. Fliss has just announced she's pregnant too! Hope it's not catching!! (Assuming too that you know who these people are!!) Life goes on.... very cold today... brrr! Suffering from a very bad case of SAD. Carry on the good work! Take care. Lou

Its been ages since I have last sent a message - I have just caught up with your travels and spent the evening looking at your photos from Australia - the beaches look amazing -I love the views from the helicopter and the camper van must have been a lot of fun. Mark has an Aunty in Melbourne and after reading your comments about Melbourne - I really think it is time for a visit!

We have been looking at Universities with Samantha and we went to visit your old Uni a couple of weeks ago - They have lovely new student accommodation! Very posh

Rebecca has a boyfriend called Charlie - we met him for the first time today. Me and Mark had to be on our best behaviour -and try not to be too embarrasing! He's really nice

Sam has a Saturday job at the new 'Next' store at Quedgeley - It is a new shop which has just opened .

We are going to visit our friends in Holland in a few weeks - it is quite close Christmas but we might get chance to visit some Dutch Christmas markets.

You always look so happy on your photos - I am glad you are having such a wonderful time. I am sure you wont want to come home!

Your latest update sounds really exciting - love the deserted beaches. I've just packed my suitcase for a week in Scotland which we are really looking forward to. Hope our holidays pics will look as good as yours!!

Hope the camping expedition on Fraser Island goes well. Will email you when we get to Scotland - we will have seen Rich by then and can send his love and uni news!!

Your adventure so far sounds amazing. I am actually heading to Cairns in a couple of weeks to see all the sights too. Can't wait for that one.
