the start of our 10day holiday away from travelling.... we met claire at the hostel (who had about 2 hrs sleep) b4 heading out to naviti. after 3hours on the boat we arrived to a fijian welcome and a coconut to drink. we had 3 days here where we lazed about, went on a village trip where we all had kava and bought some local stuff aswell as having a walk around and nearling dying and geting soated on the speed boat. it was lovely everyone even had their own gardens! we also had a sports day which our team won and got us a fiji bitter (yuk) there was a lovely beach there called honeymoon beach... where we all watched the sunset. this island was lovely really back to fijian roots basic but amzing. we even had our own private bure the 3 of us! we also had to dance everynight and sing the bula song much to steves dislike but claire n beki loved it! after 3 days of lazing about we got back on the boat and went to bounty island where celebrity love island was filmed. we saw the huts which had been ripped apart which was a shame. the island was sublime and we had a great time making jewellery, steve playing volleyball, gossiping and generally sunbathing ( beki was browner than claire!!) the food was lovely the sea bluer than blue and the beach white. the coral was kule and beki n claire went and swam out to it. we all also canoed around the whole island. we also watched the england match one night (3am) where rooney was sent off. but all the lads who had tried to stay up were asleep and we had to wake them all up! hehe that was fun. after all this we had to say good bye to claire who was going to the main island to start her trip and we went to malolo island. malolo was a huge resort and as the dorms were full we got our own double room n ensuite (hehe) but it was at the top of a 150step climb... we did much the same as b4. had a canoeing trip. a romour had gone round that kidman and urban were on the opposite island. beki tried to canoe out and got close only to be told when she got back that they were in taihiti (humph) we played countless games of s***head and met 1nice american and 50anoying ones as there was a big group of isv volunteers. it was a lovely island just had a lot of mosquitoes.. beki once again was the pig and got eaten alive. steve came away with less than 10. lifes just not fair. back in nadi now going shopping 2moz watchin the footie then flying 2 la! fiji is awesome we are both really brown ( as far as fair haired people go) beki n steve xx
