The road to Pai (ponounced Bye) is route 1095 (or so Si's t-shirt tells us) and is quite famous up here. So after we said goodbye to Sukhotai we got on the bus for the five hour journey to Chiang mai. Which as usual was uneventful just very very long, although on the way we did make friend with a Brasilian couple and ended up going to the same hostel as them.
