I fell asleep and missed the first hour. Only woke up when Mum and Dad celebrated Crouchy's equaliser. Whoops.

Well to England at Wembley, same old story I'm afraid , so much hype very little to show.
Green Brown Terry Upson Baines Walcott Lampard Barry Gerrard Defoe Rooney
Awful first half team looked disjointed and England let Egypt dominate possesion in fist half , slip by Upson let in Zidan and he buried his shot passed Green for the opener.
England's passing was poor and we never semmed to pick the right option, I think tonight showed again that Lampard Gerrard does not work for us. We twice got in down the right but Lampard squandered the chances.Jury is out still on the Rooney Defoe partnership but I don't think it works, they make the same runs and both try to peel of the deepest centre back.
Second Half, Carrick for Lamps (hooray) and Crouch for Defoe we kept the ball better and distribution was penetrating.Great interplay in midfield and crisp first time passes and Crouch stokes home the equaliser . Wright Phillips for Walcott and Milner for Gerrard were changes that didn't alter our shape. Further goals from Wright Phillips and Crouch again wrapped up a solid second half and most pleasing to me is that Capello can spot where its not right and make the necessary changes to achieve the result.
V tickets go sale this morning at 9, for those with an Essex postcode, I'm sure you've got it sorted but I thought I'd let you know.
Anyway enough from me ,my one finger typing has its limits, enjoy NZ have fun.
would like a comfortable 3-0 victory, clean sheet would be nice.

Nice one - thanks Dad. We've only really got Internet access when we find a wifi spot that's free and whilst we're being roadies that's not that often, so regular updates on football (or anything exciting) is all good.
What's Rooney up to now = 23 prem goals?
Love from both of us. x

United were crap today went down 3-1 away at Everton, because of lunchtime kick off got down low road late, didn't miss much half hour gone and still 0-0 against Harwich Rangers. Double scored just before the half, got to say it was awful to watch, they really missed you and Jimmy Reith in the middle of the Park.
Finally ran out 3-0 winners ,but it was a struggle.
