hi folks, merry crimbo! had a great xmas do in noreen's on saturday you were missed! sorry to hear your xmas plans in auz have come amiss my friend gillian say's your welcome to stay with her though she's in adelaide so a wee bit too far too travel eh? Now baz i'm a wee bit dismayed at noreen's announcment on saturday that she was now the fav aunt (or is she just winding me up)? Her reason was that she e mails you every week but dont be impressed by this as its only because she actually sits in front of a computer every day in work and therefore its no big effort on her part! whereas i come home following a gruelling 12 hour shift turn on my computer then correspond with you............. so who's the genuine one here??? work it out! Anyhow have a great xmas and new year and if your going to adelaide let me know and i'll give you gills address xxx

Merry Christmas Barry and Seonaid. Hope you have a Christmas to remember in Australia to see you through the dark, damp days of Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter on your return home. Sitting in work at the minute with the Christmas songs blaring, getting ready for the office party. Keep the blogs coming they really brighten up the week. Have a great start to 2009. Love Maria

Christmas greetings to you two. Hope that you're adjusting to the unseasonal climate and not longing too much for a bit of dank drizzle to go with Long's fish 'n chips. Got to thank you for the travelog. Its been addictive - nicely rationed to keep the users in there. I've travelled with you every step with the mouse button. Travelled out now. No need to see sun or snow again for a few years. You'll know all about the changes at home. The electronic force field centred on Waterloo Gardens that's wreaking havoc with overflights and pacemakers. There's a lodger, a wee man they call 'the mole', living there between the floorboards with sole responsibility for the cable runs. With the new desk levered in Derm can now record the BBC Northern Ireland Orchestra playing the complete works of Wagner in one take though its a job to squeeze them all in. The perfect blue note remains elusive.Had a wee trip out in the boat with Derm and Trish who must have read something in an agony aunt column about showing an interest in your spouse's interest. That girl is too classy for a wee boat like that...and so it proved. In Liverpool we are coming to the end of the year as Capital of Culture and if its proved anything its that the city hasn't much interest in culture but knows how to have a party. In Dungiven Eoghan Quigg who looks like a seal pup with a wig on has come home to join Daniel O'D and Ronnie Carroll in the hall of fame of Ulster's singing legends . The new Irish iconic legend Geraldine is showing that neither looks, voice nor balls should stand in the way of a girl living her dream. We're all in good form here. Yvonne, Roisin and Ant send their love. We'd put a couple of pounds in the post for you to get a couple of new t-shirts but by the time it arrived it would be worth nothing.Feeling nostalic that you've get to Melbourne. I'd arranged to emigrate there in the £10 migrant days but they wouldn't let me in. So enjoy it double for me.Have a great holiday and keep up the blogBarney
