This is a very boring drive! It's like driving through Saskatchewan, only progressively warmer and in a different country.

Mom's upset with Dad. She really needed to pee but he thought she was joking and drove past the rest stop. He doesn't listen to us either. Just wait until when he's not driving and wants to stop....

Dad saw an indoor lumber yard and got very excited. I don't get it. There's no food there, and that's the only reason to go anywhere.

Speaking of food, the humans left us in the vehicle for a few minutes. Almost enough according to me...I mean us! They came back to find that the slider Dad was saving for later was pretty much gone. And they are blaming me?!?! Was it the piece of bun stuck in my moustache? Pretty sure Lola put it there. Oh, they also say something about my swollen stomach? I'm having a puffy day. Don't need it pointed out. I'm self-conscious enough as is!

This is seriously a pretty boring day. We left Manitoba, then drove through North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, Nebraska, and into Kansas. Wish we had more to report.

Staying in Topeka, Kansas tonight. Does Toto live around here?
