coolangatta will be a memorable week on our trip not for excursions, activities or belistic nights out on the screaming lash....but for the week of total relaxation and homely comforts..we chilled right to the core and the timeshare we stayed at was called the beachcomber international resort..the resort lived up to its name with top dollar facilities and a friendly vibe..

are days would consist of either lounging at the two swimming pools on site or venturing down to the nearby beach to catch some waves!hang ten!...it also provided us with a base in which to have a weeks extensive beefing in the small box like gym...bav was obviously the most eager in which to make the most of this opportunity and quickly equipped himself with a helmet to wear on the cycling machine..this joke of a man soon departed after five minutes and did not grace these floors for the remainder of the week!

sedge cleverly shotgunned the double bed first and left joe to share a room with the sleep talking and snoring that comes from the hagrid like features of sam..however having this apartment did provide the spring board in which sedge and bavin could develop there school like antics on joe and further antaginise him...joe even found his bed mysteriously missing one night when he wandered off for some shut eye!

the mid point of the week joe and sedge went and played 9holes of golf..they climbed aboard the joke bus and its friends and found themselves in admists people of varying standards, ages, nationalities and jokeness..sedge is officially a 200th of his former ability and the big ginger man ran him close in a fiercely contested display of poor match play golf...

the week tested our originality and cookery skills with sedge just pipping sam to the post and joe in a firm last place!..the resort also had a tabletennis table where true emotion was shed! bavin participated well and showed brief points of class but still despite maxium effort has yet to win a game off joe or sedge...joe displayed a golden patch of high class action but sedge is still the top dog with a comfortable lead...

the timeshare week was a welcome break from the dorm life of hostels..and coolangatta was a very pleasant and calming place in which the two book badgers and sedge could let there trials and tribulations drift away!
