Came to Iceland to see the Northern Lights. Haven't so far but have had a fantastic trip anyway with teens Jo (19) and Elly (15) Up at 4 for flight at 7 so had full day when we arrived. Guillemot in game sauce. Bit like venison.

Thrir Frakkar was recommended by an Icelandic work colleague. And just around the corner. Jo decided to try whalemeat. It came with salmon and caviar and wasabi. Very dark red. Tasted like raw beef. I naughtily opted for Guillemot. It came ith a game suce which is prob why it reminded me of venison. Interesting experience.

After coffee we finally found the art gallery by the harbour. 20 mins before closing time. Got in for half price. Cool graphics by Erro. In the style of artists like Picasso and Miro. Cool.
