We've been speed karting, luge (downhill go karts) and soaking in mineral pools today. Tomorrow I go rafting (at one point down a 7m waterfall) and Mark goes river sledging (basically surfing on your belly on a custom made board down river). Not sure which one sounds more extreme. Let us know what you're up to Carys

At last we are heading off to Northland (northern tip of the North Island) where we plan to do some diving, fishing and boomnetting. Our campervan will hopefully get us there and be our trusted and reliable ride for the next two months. Wish us luck! M&C

Happy New Year all. A new year and a new continent for us. We leave Santiago de Chile on the 2nd January and arrive 13 hours later in Auckland on the 4th January. We're planning on buying a car, a tent and some bikes to see NZ properly and spend the rest of our money on 'adventures'. Looking forward to hearing from you all. M&C x
