Hello! We are on the ship now...and properly this time! No more leaving for things we've forgotten! I shall put up a post-card with the things we have done on board although I don't think this site has the right picture for the post-card...it's just water...everywhere water! But the sun-sets and sun-rises are really pretty! Oh yes, Davina...my phone doesn't work at all outside the UK :o( So I am getting a phone when we get there and I will be sure to give you...and everybody...my new number! It should be able to send/receive messages etc. from over there. But you are right, I think like 99% of phones won't work over there cos they have a different band width thingy-doo-dah.

Do you know if your mobiles will work in the US, a colleague from work said that uk phones dont work in the US (he muttered something about triband???). If you change your number you will have to let me know.
It is quite quiet at the mo - not much happening. I am away in Hungary soon for a long weekend with some guys from work. should be fun! (i will give the place a thorough checking out to see if it is suitable for a possible stag-do location for Nick:)
A secondment opportuinity has arisen at work which i am going to apply for. 2-4 years in Sydney starting sometime early next year. I think this will be quite popular so my chances of getting it are not good, but I'll give it a try....

It only takes a few hours in a plane! but it does sound like a most excellent adventure!
Things are good here; I am going to Basingstoke (for the moment) whilst looking for something more locally, HER is gone and I am ok about it, its pretty slow here though - nobody to fold my drawings :-(
