Monday 26th September - Day 7. Portland to Netarts Bay, Pacific Coast. Rather a frustrating day today it started very early at 4.45 as Chris got up to catch his 6.30am flight to San Diego. Being so close to the airport, we were able to hear an aeroplane take off at exactly 6.30 and imagine Chris flying over our heads. Monday September 25th - day 6. South bend to Portland, Oregon. Up at 6.30 and hero Bill did the washing up whilst we enjoyed a cup of tea overlooking the wetlands in the grey early morning light. Sunday 24th September - day 5. Hurricane Ridge to Sol Duc Falls, Hoh Valley and the Pacific Coast. We woke late - about 9am - in the peaceful forest of Olympic National Park.
