Hi all, Gen here, After a gruelling 26 hour journey we finally landed in Auckland. Cold, windy and wet, it turns out a tornado hit the city just hours before we landed! I chuckled when the shuttle bus from the airport to our hotel was playing Crowded House. We tried to savour the hotel (our last night with a proper bed and our own bathroom for a while before we collected the van) but after a zombie-like wander around the city on the hunt for food we collapsed in...

Right then... This is it! We're off. Thank you to all those that helped us move and get ready for today, and for all the messages of goodbye and good luck. We will miss you all but will keep in touch as best we can. Ridiculously excited, hope to see you guys next year.

Leaving Party at Louis XIV. Lots of people, lots of jaeger! Job done. Going to miss all our friends and family, can't beleive we are going in less than 2 weeks!!
