Well hello everyone! It has been too long since my last postcard and I apologise! The reasons is that there are no internet cafes out here as it seems all American's have their own PC's at home!

Anyway, what have I been up to I hear you ask...

Well on the 2nd  May my Trek America tour left L.A. and headed for Buellton. On the way we drove through all the famous parts of L.A. including the Hollywood sign, and then we spent the afternoon at Universal Studios! Once we arrived at our campsite in Buellton we sat around a fire and everyone got to know each other.

On the 3rd we drove to Monterey and spent the afternoon in the small town eating ice cream and buying new clothes, and I even managed to leave my sunglasses in the shop (of course I didn't realise this until two days and many miles later!). When we reached our campsite my cooking team cooked an awsome dinner and then I started a log fire on the beach nearby and we sat and drank there for a few hours... cool.

On the 4th & 5th we were in San Fransisco! I found an awsome music store and bought some rare metal CD's. We all went to the cinema and watched Spiderman 3, an ok movie. I visited a Games Workshop and saw a 'lifesize' Space Marine statue! I walked across the Golden Gate Bridge and went to Alcatraz State Penitentiary, which was awsome! We also went for dinner in Chinatown, and saw many other of San Fran's interesting spots... a really cool city!

On the 6th & 7th we were in Yosemite National Park, and I cannot describe what a beautiful place it is!!! The first day we went to the the Giant Redwood Secoya Pines (spellings wrong I know). These trees are out of this world and we even walked through one! We had snowball fights and watched the sun go down over the mountians, excellent! On the second day we trekked through the Park and walked to a a waterfall, adn had lunch and a siesta up there, before walking back down to camp. There were nice campfires and plenty of chatting during the nights.

On the 8th we crossed into Nevada and drove to Lake Tahoe where we celebrated Rock Star's birthday by going out on a sunset cruise with a free bar! When we returned to camp we quietly watched a bear prying food from a dumpster, and it was big!!!

On the 9th we spent the night in a random campsite and just chilled.

On the 10th we got to Jackson and saw the snow capped mountians! Then we celebrated J-Bob's birthday by going out on the town to a place called the 'Cowboy Bar'. We got rather drunk there and I tried to buy a sherrifs badge off his jacket, which was humourous! THen we went to a bar called the 'Vaginian' again a colourful place! We got back to camp late and rather drunk.

Today, the 11th we are just chilling and recovering, and shopping!

So that is about it, my time is up on the computer so I have to go!!! Until the next time!
