Who would have thought that we would see some of the best b/w photography of our lives in Cambodia? After accidentally stumbling (or rather:biking) upon McDermott's gallery and finding some fantastic images of the old temples (made with infrared film), our appetite for more made us go to an exhibition opening at another gallery which was part of the Photo Festival that was just starting... lucky us! Today is the big 'tour de temples': We have a tuk tuk driver booked for the whole day and will see as many of the different temples around Angkor Wat as we can stomach. Starting with the big famous one - ta daaa! - at sunrise (which means we had to get up at 4.30!)

... and stoned hippie types of course. Wish I would have got a better image of his bare chest and his tons of wood- and bone necklaces and bracelets, but I thought it kinda impolite to walk up to him and snap a photo :)

They are everywhere... Temples, monks in their orange robes, food carts - three things that become very familiar when you've been in South East Asia for more than two months. Still kinda awesome :)
