Also a must try (and for sure a 'Hallo-wach-Effekt) is the Vietnamese coffee, served with its own little filter mechanism and sweet condensed milk. Very chilled little street cafe we found here, with almost enough shade to keep us from melting!

First day in Vietnam (in the very small and extremely local border town Ha Tien) and we are excited to score our very first proper Vietnamese Pho soup. Delicious! (Even though Morten almost kills himself by accidentally chewing up one of the chilis I put in the soup. Oops.)

Travel tip: Border casinos simply have the best bathrooms! In front: Our s***ty bus and all of our travel mates baking in the sun, waiting for our passports...

During our night swim we were actually so lucky to experience fluorescence (did you ever see that??). Amazing! A little morning swim to the other end of the beach and back starts the day off right, followed by some not-so-relaxing hassle to get a place on a boat back to the mainland... followed by an even less relaxing ride in a crap bus and some border craziness. But we are determined to reach Vietnam today!
