Today we left the Netherlands to go to Luxembourg.
The campsite owner farewelled us as we left and invited us to return in the future. It was a great site near the Maas River.
We mainly kept to the motorways. Our trip was to take 3 hours but on our approach to Liege in Belgium the Tom Tom got lost but even the road directions were poor so no wonder we got lost. The town was derelict in places and where there were buildings packed closely together is looked dirty. It was a large city and it took us a good hour to go up one side of the canal and then be directed back down the other side to where we started. We could have exited on the south side but the signage was so bad it wasn't possible.
Eventually we were on our way again. I slept part of the way as it was difficult to take any photos. We travelled through France to Luxembourg to the Kockelscheuer campsite. We arrived about 5pm. We were able to do all the washing as it has been the first time that the weather was fine. Dee cooked dinner while the Trevor, Paul and John pitched the tent. The cooking is slow in the camper so it was 8 pm by the time we ate.
Another day finished. Four countries in one day. 300kms. Another day of driving tomorrow.
Good night xxxx
