Howdy folks, Sorry for not updating you before now Queen Pammie but internet access isn't an option in our campervan!!!! Although I must say it does have a cool wee flip down DVD player. Anyway, we are currently in a place called Taupo. It's beside this huge lake but that's all we know so far as we have just arrived. The previous couple of days we have been on the road, staying at places such as the Bay of Islands where we went on a jet boat through this hole in a mountain.Hard to explain but we've got the photos to prove. Aud made us sit right at the front of the boat as these were known as the 'thrill seats'. No hair gel in the world could keep your 'fro in place!! We then travelled to Rotorua which is the picture with this postcard. The whole town stinks of egg and we stayed at a 1950's Hi-De-Hi style campsite. Rotorua has geysers and thermal pools and we went in for a thermal pool spa which overlooked the lake. It was soooooo relaxing and a great way to unwind after the cramped setting of our wee campervan!!! I'm glad you all like the photos. We'll keep adding more as we get them. You'll all be glad to know that it has not stopped raining since we got the van and last night you could see your breath outside when you breathed. Thanks for keeping an eye on the fish guys. Although I hope you have also remembered to empty the Teripins box and prepare it for its hibernation?? We'll update you all on our travels when we get internet access next. Off to Wellington (the capital) in next 2 days and Stew hopes to catch the Scotland game (at 3am in the morning!).Peace, Stew and Aud xx
