Day 60 - March 6

A very short blog.

We arrived at 08:00 but no independent guests were allowed off on the island.

This is the second island that did not allow us off the ship unless you are on a ship tour or a sanctioned government sponsored independent tour. They call this an island bubble and Covid rules have sometimes been changing by the day and/or hour. If we had known, we would have prebooked a tour but oh well another sea day. So off we went to art class and Janice to the gym

. We have been collecting door magnets from the islands or places we have visited but will not be buying any when we cannot get off the ship - as technically we did not visit. I will soon post a picture of our door !!

It is interesting to see that the islands are stiil concerned about Covid while most provinces we hear are lifting most requirements. We don't blame them as they have had very little covid and obviously panic when they see these massive cruise ships coming in. Some of them have up to 3000 passengers while we are still at 1/3 capacity with 264 passengers.

On a better note our Trivia team (New York or Bust) placed second today.
