New Year's Eve is spent in Port Antonio

Arrival time 10:00 All Aboard 17:30 Departure 18:00

The ATW 2022 (Around the World) made a stop here to blue skies but not today, it is raining buckets. The weather is so bad that all three tour excursions were cancelled due to the impassibility on the roads.

Our mission today should we choose was to maneuver through the puddles and rain and acquire a cabin door magnet. The hope is to collect one from every port on the itinerary. It was a success although we were ever so wet.

Returning to the ship we found that Insignia Lounge, Martini's and Horizons have been decorated for the big night and the welcoming of the new year.

Our dining reservations were at the Polo Grill with Bev and Glenn where an excellent meal was provided by the staff. The ship still has its Christmas decorations up so it was off to the staircase in front of reception on deck four for a group photo.

It was then off to the Insignia Lounge for the New Year's Eve Celebrations. All four of us wree quite merry that evening and had a wonderful time dancing the night away.

Once midnight came and went the celebrations moved up to Horizons on Deck 10. I understand the dancing continued until 02:30 but we were sensible and left by 01:30 .
