Well! We are just in a bar at the airport waiting to board. Everything has gone so quickly over the last week it's crazy. I haven't decided if I've forgotten anything yet but I'm sure I'll soon find out. We've had a great send off by friends and family & some emotional goodbyes which have been hard but I'm sure it'll fly by and I'll be home in no time. Beijing is our first stop, then onto Xi'an, Shanghai and Hong Kong before flying to Bangkok. Hopefully we won't have any trouble finding where we're staying when we get there & can dump our bags to go an get some Peking duck!!

Our flight is 7 hours to Dubai, with a 4 hour break and then another 7 hours to Beijing arriving on Monday afternoon. I quite like flights with big airlines (Emirates) so I can't wait to see what food we get and there is of course free booze!!
