Its been a while , and we had a few minutes spare, so we thought we'd take the opportunity to post an uneventful blog from surfer's paradise on the Gold Coast. A short train ride from Brisbane is a stunning stretch of beach, suprisingly the haunt of many a surfer. The whole town is geared towards beach activity, so this is where we spent 5 relaxing days, bathing carefree in the sun, frollicking in the water and occasionaly throwing a rugby ball around.
Given that is a fairly detailed account of our trip, you would be right in thinking we had a very lazy few days, before returning to the buzz of Brisbane.
On the night of our arrival back in Brisbane, we were informed the Welsh Rugby Union team were in town, so made the short hop to the Brisbane SunCorp stadium to witness them getting a mauling from the Wallabies. We also watched England do no better against the Springboks, AGAIN!
We took another early night as the next day was the start of our trip North to Cairns!
