Day 114 Saturday 2nd January 2010

Waking up at 6am, for a coach transfer to Coffs Harbour today. Which was to get us in for 5.30pm. Stopping off for lunch, we grabbed a pie. I always look forward to the coach stops for a pie! J We arrived to Coffs Harbour finally, it's a very little country harbour town, we settled into the YHA and jumped straight into the pool as the weather is very humid here. Then went across to the restaurants and decided to have an Indian out tonight. Finishing up, with watching Jaws in the TV room.

Today started off with a good old fashioned screwdriver to our dorm locker padlock as we had shut our keys to the padlock inside. Opposite our hostel there was a Sunday market so we had a look around on the way down to the beach, the beach wasn't for swimming as the current is way too strong but it didn't stop various dog walkers playing fetch and watching the dogs struggle back to the shore with the stick! The trees around the beach were making their usual screeching noise from what we believe are butterflies so we strolled on around the jetty and back home with a visit to the local supermarket. Tonight we were planning on having a bar-b so we went for a 2km walk into town for some good meat as the local supermarket didn't really have much choice, we picked up some lunch and some burgers and meat skewers for later on then went back pool side for a well earned rest from our trekking about.
