The only reason we're writing this post is because the flight was 14 hours. This in combination with the time difference upon arrival meant we had just skipped roughly 38 hours which we reckoned was enough for a blog post.

We were a bit worried by the lack of small screens for a 14 hour flight but it all worked out. Under our chairs were power sockets with enough juice to power my tablet and provide us with the viewing entertainment of 4 Game of Thrones episodes. Our flight was further enhanced by the fact that we had 3 chairs to ourselves. This allowed (mainly me) to lie (almost) straight with my legs resting on Q's lap (I had to promise the stewardess we'd switch halfway through) for an extremely nice nap during the flight.

We arrived well rested and ready to explore one of the greatest cities on earth!
