Well had a 6 hr bus journey to our homestay adn it was bloody hot! Finally got thre and everyone was very hot adn tired, there were a few grum,bles from everyone as it was seriously basic, the loo was a squat loo adn oyu have to flush it by pouring water down it!! uck! went on a b52 bomber fuel tank boat to see the sunset which wascooling and very nice. Had a nice supper on a veranda and then played a local laos card game good fun- forgotten tthe name but if anyone wants toplay when i get home andi can remeber then good times!! then came the slight horror of bed - a nice thinmatress on the floor with a coupleiof sheet a blanket, pillow and a mosquito net - basic!!! The best part was that there was no shower there just a tap which was tpo small adn co9ld to stand under and we had a 13 hr bus jopunrey the next day to leave Laso and enter vietnam!!! Well we survided adn the next morniong knowing we were leaving, i decided i had a quite enjoyed it, but wouldnt do it again out of choice!!
