Looked at all your updated photos from Hong Kong to Beijing - really interesting and you look as if you're having a great time. Glad you had a good birthday Dave and celebrated with a few drinks. Pity about the bad hair days!!! I'm sure you can pick up a few cheap hair bobbles in China - almost the right length for bunches!! You both look really well and seem to be enjoying all the new experiences. Not long now though, the weeks seem to be flying by and can't wait to see you both home again. The new babies are gorgeous - Sian came over from France to see them on the weekend. Summer has arrived at last, hope it continues for a few weeks at least, perhaps a few months is wishful thinking. Going to Swansea on Sunday to celebrate Kay and Cliff's golden wedding anniversary. Enjoy Vietnam etc - we look forward to the next batch of photos. Take care of each other and stay safe. Lots of love Mum and Dad T xxxxxx

Hello everyone - just a quick update!
We enjoyed Halong Bay - spent one night/2 days on a boat there - the floating villages were impressive and we were fed very well for 2 days!
We then went trekking in Sapa - amazing! We got a night train from Hanoi to Sapa and then met our guide and walked through the rice terraces and up and down lots of muddy hills! We visited some tribal villages and met some lovely people, although they were ultimately trying to sell us the things they made!
We stayed in one of the villages overnight with a homestay - lovely family that made us feel very at home there. Yesterday we walked back towards Sapa and had some lunch and looked around the town - Dave's birthday so he had a birthday beer and pizza! We then got a night train back to Hanoi and arrive at 4.30am this morning! Just checked into our room for the day before we get another night train to HoiAn tonight - we are going to be in need of a chill out then! Going to enjoy Hanoi again today though and celebrate Dave's birthday a bit!
Lots of love to all xxxxxxxxxxxxx

See you all soon xxxxxxxx
Off to Sapa on a night train tonight then walking all day visiting tribal villages and then staying in one of their homes and learning how to cook and see how they live there. Then walking all day the next day and getting the night train back to Hanoi! We've booked a room for the day as get back at 5am on the 24th so will need a shower and some sleep! Plus Dave would've spent his birthday night on the train! Then getting a night train on 24th to HoiAn - gonna chill then for a lil bit! Running out of time now though!! Enjoyed Halong Bay on the overnight boat - the sun shone for us for a bit so we were lucky!
Love you all - will be in touch soon!!xxxxxxxxxxxxx
