FROM ANGELA: Today, I went to the beach. It was fun. Then we went to Aunt Rose's house. She showed us her birthday cake. Then we went to Chili's. I had ribs and mmmmm it was the best thing I've ever tasted. Then we went to Aunt Rose's house again and we ate some of her cake.

The last 2 days have been play days. We've gone to the beach both days. The first day we went to Clearwater Beach. This is the Gulf of Mexico side of Florida. The water was wonderfully warm. It was not what I expected. The second day, today, we went to Honeymoon Island, also in Clearwater, Florida. This beach allowed pets and it was obvious Sierra wanted to do some swimming too. FROM ANGELA: In the morning, we woke up. For breakfast, we have what we usually have for breakfast, cantaloupe and cereal. Then we went to this manatee place. We saw real manatees! Four of them. Cool, huh? Then we went on a boat to a restaurant. It was good. I had a whole cheeseburger with fries. Then I had a nap. It was a long nap. Then we went to Aunt Rose's house. The day started with a short trip to Homosassa Springs.Here we went to a wildlife park that several habitats, the main one of which was set aside for manatees.We walked around and also saw a variety of birds as well as alligators, bears, panthers, and a hippo.The ride to the park area actually started with a boat ride through a creek where we saw an osprey nest set in the tallest tree in the area.It looked very much like an eagle's nest, which we had seen 2 days ...

Not much going on today. About 9 hours of travel. By the time we got here, there was a major thunderstorm going on. Mom felt it worth mentioning that on the way here, a major flash of lightning accompanied by an instantaneous cannon shot of thunder took place. I told her I already had it noted.
