We had a good journey to Beijing and arrived at our hotel ready for our adventure. The weather was appalling - pouring with rain, as the photos show. We had a trip to the Temple of Heaven which was very quiet due to the weather. It made getting around very easy.

Later we visited the pearl market and were literally harrassed to death by stall holders who had little better to do. We escaped to the silk factory (again). Bought another top to add to the collection! Dinner was back at the hotel then to bed for some well earned sleep.

A new addition to the roads are city bikes that can be hired. One company was called "Mobike" hence the photo in the album. Seemed to be working as the roads were definitely quieter than in the past.
