We left Panna National Park at 8 after a rushed breakfast expecting a 7 hour journey by jeep, we arrived 4 hours later to lunch at the hotel 'Tourist Bungalow'. The journey itself was quite bad because they were 2 bad car crashes and there were 2 dead dogs in the road, this brought back the backwardness of the country. In the afternoon we went to Kadamgiri. We arrived at lunchtime after a lazy morning and after being shown to our cottages at the Ken River Lodge we went on an open top safari!!Unfortunately we did not see any tigers but we did see monkeys and deer in their natural habitat and the scenery was spectacular. That evening we had a buffet supper which was lovely if not a little predictable, we seem to be getting the same 3 sauces, rice, poppudums and chippatas!!

We left early for Khajuraho, stopping at a paper making factory, a palace and a temple illustrating the Karma Sutra. Agra to Chanderie took longer than expected, 10 hours with a combination of sleeper train and jeep! Chanderie is very remote and they had never seen a white person 5 years ago!
