We drove on Tauranga (Bay of Plenty), again only one full day here so we walked up the Mount (a big hill that they are so proud of!) We drove onto Taupo, stopping on the way at a place called 'Thermal Wonderland' this is a place where there are geyzers, boiling mud pits, colloured waters and sulphur lakes, a very interesting a beautiful place to visit, looking at the effects of volcanic activity in the region of years ago.
