SELMAT DATANG, No we are not dead or lost at sea!! It is a sad moment however, for both traveller and loyal blog reader! This will be our last post from SE Asia .... (this year anyway)... HELLO ALL! As you may have noticed, there has been a delay in broadcasts for the past week or so ... but now we are back in the 'technoloical world' and can give you the update. After a great time drinking and tubing in Vang Vieng and finishing out the Lao New Year in style, we jumped on the bus (a day late!!) for the long, winding road to Luang Prabang. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! We are still in Laos at the moment in Vang Vieng. Everyone here is celebrating Lunar New Year- 3-4 days of lots of Beer Lao drinking (starts about 8 in the morning!!!), lots of music and lots of water!!!- everyone is walking the streets soaked and you can't walk 10m down the main streets without getting a soaking!!! its all great fun. Hay hay, Sorry havn't written for a while... we have been treking around the hilltribes of Sapa!! We had 3 nights 4days in Sapa- the first day we were b*****ed from the o/night train ride so we just wandered around and talked to the locals, checked out the awesome handicrafts (i would import containers full if only we had the $$!!).
