Day 16 Hoi An. Happy Easter everyone! As I type this I am watching the sun rise gently in an azure sky whilst sat outside our garden room, on a whicker chair, gazing across manicured lawns to the infinity swimming pool. In the distance I can see the tops of the the coconut matted roofs of the beach parasols beckoning to the onrushing waves. Now this is the way to spend Easter! (I'll stop waxing lyrical at this point before we loose all our friends to jealousy)....

Day 15 Hoi An. Today is a travel day so I promise the blog will be a little shorter (or that's the intention). Today, we take a short flight, more than a hop but not as much as a stride, to Danang airport then drive south to Hoi An. But first we check out from our hotel, the Lavender hotel, themed (funny enough) on lavender! Day 14 Ho Chi Minh city. For those people who have noticed these blogs getting longer and are worried that 'I need to get out more', then dont worry! Dining is an early activity here and most nights we are back at our hotels before 8.30 and tucked up in bed by 10.30pm. Day 13 Ho Chi Minh city. GOOOOD MORNING VIETNAAAAM...I've always wanted to say that! Day 12 Ho Chi Minh city. Today we leave Phnom Penh on route for Ho Chi Minh City, but not after a mornings sight-seeing. However sight-seeing hardly sounds the appropriate words as we are firstly visiting the prison at Tuel Sleng then onto 'The Killing Fields', before returning to the airport for our 2.15 flight.
