Today we hopped on the Oz Experience bus. All one big family!!! There were 24 people on the bus, and our driver was 'Mash'. Today we went on a day trip to the Blue mountains. It was about a three hour drive away with a mad guide! Stopped off at the Olympic Village on the way and had a look round. At the Blue mountains we walked round, saw waterfalls, and amazing views! They're called the Blue mountains because of a mist that comes from the thousands of eucalyptus trees. Followed a walk down round the rainforest nearly to the bottom of the valley, and got the Steepest train...

Up early this morning! Walked from Hyde Park, through the Botanical gardens to a point called Mrs Macquarie's seat which had an amazing view of the Opera house and the Bridge. We walked along the harbour, and took a ferry ride to see all the sights from the water. As we got on, about 60 school kids queued up behind us to get on with us. Nightmare!! Was OK though! The area by the Harbour bridge is called the Rocks, and is full of quaint little pubs and cafe...

To finish off the absolutely fantastic weekend that we had in LA with Gemma, we took a drive along the coast road. We passed through Marina del Rey, where Gemma lives, then drove past Venice beach and Santa Monica, and could see Malibu in the distance. We met a friend of Gemma's for lunch and she took us to see a house that her husband is building. It is out of this world! Real celebrity-ville! Great weekend, Australia has a lot to live up to!
