Dearest Amy, as promised here is my little message.
Now, I feel the burden of responsibility here. So many of your other messages send you warm greetings and/or tell of interesting things. Alas, I don´t think I´m up to the task of equally these messages for, as you know, I have a potato instead of a man-heart. Consequently, most human emotions are well beyond my potato-influenced grasp. Thus, I fear I cannot write a sincere and kind message. It´ll just seem false. And before you ask, no, it is not a Jersey potato. Moreover, as I sit here in Rio de Janeiro, tired and sodden on a wet Sunday afternoon, I´m afraid that I have no tales of interest to tell of my own. Sorry. So, instead, I thought I would share with you a couple of question that have been occupying my thoughts today... Would you rather be abducted and probed by space aliens or by fishmen? Secondly, if you had to have either the genitals of both a man and a woman or no genitals at all, which would you choose? Hmmm...
Sorry. Evidently, I need to find myself a girlfriend.
Hope this message finds you well, safe and happy.
Love, Alex
Amy
Alweeeeet?
Ah Liz sorry to hear about revision hell but you know I have been through my fair share of that so am just enjoying the deterioration of my knowledge. I cannot recall that much from my degree these days!
Can't wait to start doing Capoeira again in the summer. It is something I am looking forward to coming home (I need something)!
Lizzie
Revision is sooooooooo boring!!! I wanna be in Australia!!!!!

Hiya
When I close my eyes I see black with little white dots flashing..ha ha only joking. Well I'd have to work hard to imagine a warm, tropical beach scenario as it is cold here at present - but then it is a Bank holiday weekend.
Keep up the hard work of relaxing on the beach, swimming and sight seeing. xxxx

Hi Ames
If I close my eyes, I can imagine myself on a sun-drenched beach in Oz, with that nice burn-smell coming off my sun-roasted skin. I can hear the big breakers bashing onto the sand and swooshing back into the sea, and people laughing and shouting excitedly, having fun with beach games. I can feel the fresh air and the sun on my back and the good that the rays are doing me ........................... and then I open my eyes and I'm back in Jersey with a coolish breeze and cloudy skies and work tomorrow! Never mind, it was a nice fantasy while it lasted ..................

In retrospect I feel like I should have been replying to all your messages on here. Sorry I haven't.. if you post me any I will reply to them on here! Tell me the goss.. come on guys!!

Hey Nick - we went out to a club called cheeky monkeys last night. It was such good fun - you have to dance on the tables as they are the dance floor! Any way on our drunken way home we had the most substantial sausage rolls of our lives. They were huge! The baked goods here in Australia surpass any I have ever known. Are you proud I managed to defeat a 1 footer subway? My stomach hurt so much as it was so full after.

Oh jeez, it's taken me more than a month to figure out this internet machine business. It's impossible to measure how flippingly-amazingly-obscenely jealous we all are of your globetrotting! And now you rub it in our pasty faces with your smashing picture-fest! Insanity.
In case you're wondering, Jersey is still stuck in the ice age. It's raining as I type. And it's blowing a gale. Still... it's... not Scotland.
Pass on my very best to Rhia and Tasha! I'll do some chicken dancing in their honour at the remaining LCRs of the semester :) Take care Amyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy x x x x x
