Hi from capital city - Wellington! Today is blowing a hooley - quite like the Jersey winters for those of you at home!! We have been to the Te Papa museum and saw an exhibition with loads of lord of the rings stuff in, like costumes, models and things. It was really really good!! While we were in Nelson we went on a little wine tasting expedition through the countryside. I was designated driver so sadly could not savour as many wines as Tasha and Rhia but it was such a beautiful day! A really good thing to do if you are in a wine growing region. This cold weather has made us so lethargic and we are managing to sleep about 50% or more of the day away... we watched the ireland-all blacks test match last night and tried to stay awake for the england world cup game (astarted 12.30 am) but were too tired so did 13 hour sleep until 12 pm today!! NExt stop is Taupo for Tasha to try and do her sky dive. Taupo has had notoriously bad weather recently, meaning sky diving isn't on the cards so fingers crossed that she'll be able to do it!
