This is offically my last blog!! I am actually now sitting back at home in England.

friday 30th Oct I flew from KK to Bangkok to meet Ricky after a month apart. On the way from the airport the traffic was manic, took nearly 2 hours to get to the dream hotel in sukhumvit area. I checked in and got the lift upstairs to the room, it was strange when Rick opened the door, he looked thin! We hugged for ages and it felt a bit strange, We went to Mcdonalds as I was starving!! We then got a taxi to the kao san road, we went shopping on the street stalls, I loved it! I got quite a lot of stuff we got some food. It is no way near as busy as I thought it was going to be. The hotel room was brilliant, very posh, we even had a blue neon light under the bed lol. slept very well, the pillows were perfect! Things felt normal to be with Ricky again and it was like we'd never been apart by the evening.

sat 31st - kao san road - more shopping! in the evening we went to soi cowboy, a tacky neon lighted street with lots of go go bars and semi naked- naked girls, it was halloween, so they were all dressed up. Just to think it was a year today that ricky got in my bed for a cuddle at the oz intro london halloween meet up! funny how time flys.

sun 1st nov - Rick got his hair cut, and I got mine dyed - soo cheap. Rick spent 5 hours getting a tattoo sleeve done to cover his panther tattoo up, it's realy nice and cheap only like £150!! we had dinner and got harrassed by a little boy the minute we sat down, he was selling us roses and started smacking me giving me a thai massage... s he called it! it was quite funny. I ended up with 5 roses

mon 2nd - I got my tattoo tonight, I got the outline of a buddah on the underside of my wrist, I am pleased with it. We booked our hotel and transport to Hua hin / Cha am today after more shopping on the kao san road! We were sad to leave the dream hotel, it was lovely, and we love Bangkok.

tues 3rd - we got up. and got a taxi to the kao san road, the taxi to cha am was meant to pick us up at 9am, half n hour goes by... eventually a man turns up in a metered taxi, we get in, he don't tell us what's happening or where we're going, we thought it was meant t be a mini bus! Eventually he stops at a load of mini buses on the side of a main road, we were told to wait. I went over to a little man with a food cart, her had 2 red squirrels, which I know are endangered! chained to a tree, and they were tame, running up my arm, they were lovely. Ricky said he was going to cook them on his cart!! Soon enough we were in cha am after a few hours journey. We were staying at the holiday inn, where me mum and sue were originally meant to be going a whole year ago!! There was nothing in the surrounding area, the hotel was nice, but 3 days was going to be enough! It was a big resort, lovely room, it was raining all day, so we played snooker on the biggest table I have ever seen, and the biggest cue I've ever seen too. The beach was not very nice, and there were huge jellyfish washed up on the beach. The dinner places on the resort were ok, and we were obsessed with the "mocktails" menu they were so tasty. we went in the "fun pub" every evening which was as fun as a funeral. but it gave me the opportunity to try darts, and Rick tried to teach me chess..... no chance!! The next day we sunbathed had dinner, then went to the fun pub, and we did the same the next day! Our transport to koh samui and accomodation is all booked up for tomorrow! its a ferry and rick gets sea sick, so what have we got ourselves in for!!!

fri 6th - We got up, and got the hotel taxi to the clock tower in Hua Hin and waited for the bus/coach. we paid 1,300 baht each for a 3 hour bus trip, then a 6 hour ferry trip!!! 6 hours...oh dear. The ferry trip was AWFUL. It was so rough, it made my stomach flip and I dont get travel sick. Rick immediately went white/green, the waves looked like they were going to capsize the boat. we had to move to the back of the boat, and I was surrounded by vomitters. Rick was filling up bags with sick, he was violently shivering and dripping with sweat, I wrapped my pashmina round him and felt completely useless!! it was awful knowing I couldnt do anything to make him feel better. Then when we got to koh lanta island to drop people off, we had to switch boats to another ferry!!! poor Ricky. He was so ill and weak, I had to carry my 2 suitcases, his backpack and his day sack off the boat, and no b*stard helped me! After more vomitting, we eventually got to koh samui!! wooo after stopping again and ko pagnan and champorn. we got a taxi to our hostel and the driver was very forceful and even slapped my arse telling me to move! haha. Rick still looked rough bless him. the resort was very sweet, basic, but we had a decent room, we couldnt complain for £7!! it was right on the beach. we had dinner and went to bed.

sat 7th - it was raining really bad last night and today, we wanted to hire out a moped and explore! we got a map and walked to the Lamai area, our beach is Lamai beach. We ended up whacking balls in a golf driving range! which Rick found hillarious. we had lunch and I bought a little pully bag to fill with shopping! we got absolutely drenched in a major downpour! we had a sleep then got ready and walked to the bar strip. we watched some male and female thai boxing, saw lots of ladyboys. I had a vodka redbull and felt quite drunk walking home! aparently there's a percentage of speed in the redbull out there. sunday 8th - it was raning again today! we booked 3 more nights here, we really love koh samui, we fly to kuala lumpur on 11th. we hired a moped for 200 baht a day for 3 days.

mon 9th - we spent the day in the Chewang area, did lots of shopping. we went to chrissy's ladyboys cabaret show today - it was brilliant, the best show I have ever seen!! some of them are just stunning. Tues 10th - we drove to a lovely area on lamai beach and stayed there sunbathing and dipping in the sea all day, Rick brought a bat n ball set - he will regret that! I am awful. we popped to the half moon party tonight on chewang lake view, it was just like a cool outdoor club. We didnt stay long, Rick had sun stroke, and I was knackered - hardcore travellers!! lol

weds 11th - flew to kualau lumpur, stayed at the tiara guesthouse. It's lovely, right next door the the istana, where mum and sue stayed. We had a chinese on a street restaurant, and wandered around. we found the petronas twin towers, very pretty all lit up at night time. we had a drink in 2 bars, the second one was definiely full of hookers and perverts! which was funny. Then we came back to our lovely air conditioned room!

thurs 12th - slept like a log, Rick couldnt sleep all night. got up at 11 and went and got some lunch! then headed to the malls! got some bits in topshop, rick got 2 pairs of work shoes to go with his new suits, polo brand from a huge department store sale, very cheap. I got a gorgeous big guess hanbag, I have never had a designer bag!! and I got a new purse too. We went back to the room for a nap, and to go online and look at flights to langkawi. Today... ricky farted on my passport... errrr. lol

fri 13th - we nearly missed our flight to langkawi!! the taxi told us it was 45 mins away, then, after taking us on a 45 minute detour so he could go to a certain petrol station to get cheap petrol!! he then told us one hour more to the terminal!! We had half an hour to board!! we just got there in time and it was delayed half an hour thank god. thank god for wilson luck overriding foster bad luck!

sat 14th - we rented a car in langkawi from the airport, the weather was really rainy and not likely to change. it was a little box....and guess what sticker was in the front window.... a gunners afc sticker!! hahaha Rick was not impressed. we got some food and went to bed! the room was nice and we got upgraded due to men fixing the shower in the other room. sunday 15th - we filled the tank up with £4 worth of petrol. we spent the day driving round the whole of the island, and it didnt even use half the tank!! its a lovely little island, shame the weather is so bad. Mon 16th - the rain has been very heavy. Hope it's sunny in thailand for the last days of my trip!! We had a huge cockroach in the room tonight, Rick got it out.

tues 17th - our last day, we played bat n ball in the rain, swam in the sea, we had a few hours of sun, if that. Rick buried me in the sand and we gave the bat n ball to some local kids. We had dinner before taking the car back to the airport. The flight was good, we have been on so many flights now and never get tired of laughing at people rushing when they cant bloody go anywhere!! the woman sitting in the window seat next to rick actually said "excuse me can i get out" when the seatbelt sign had nor even been taken off and everyone was standing in the aisles with their bags ready all looking at eachother and getting annoyed. We just thought ok...where the hell do you want us to go?! people are nuts, they really are. We flew back to KL and stayed in the concorde inn, close to the airport. despite requesting a double room online, they said they had none left, so we were upgraded to a really nice room. the staff at this hotel were not helpful at all, we didnt know where to go, but the room was lovely. in the morning we got the airport shuttle ....to the wrong terminal!! lol so had to get a taxi to the right terminal 20mins away lol.

weds 18th - we had no accomodation booked for Krabi, so booked blue ba you bungalow at the airport. it was basic, but right opposite the beach, perfect, lovely beach, right next to ao nang area and beach. we have a cute little dog that comes in and licks her "yorkshire pudding pie" on our floor lol she walks us back to our door every night and waits up for us. the shower is so funny, its boiling and has two little quirts coming out of the head, it takes 20mins to get wet!! Been planning with Tim, Sally's boyfriend, I am going to book my flight and surprise mum and nan, and then he's going to arrange some drinks and I'm going to surprise Hannah and Sally!! going to be so funny. Tues 19th - we had a little bit of sun today before an afternoon down pour. Ricky said tonight I am the only reason he is coming home, so to let him know asap if I feel different when I get home because he will stay travelling and probably try and get a job on koh samui. this was a compliment, but I also kinda of took it maybe as a hint.

fri 20th - day trip to the phi phi islands today! its overcast, but atleast theres no rain!! we went to monkey bay, maya beach (where the film, the beach was filmed) Loh samah bay, philei bay, viking caves, phi phi don, hin klarng, bamboo island. the water was gorgeous like a swimming pool, but snorkelling was not great compared to langkawi. Ricky kept being harrassed by a norweigian older couple who he said were "raping him" for information lol on thailand and langkawi. the tour bloke was rude and rubbish to be honest! it was funny though when he was being rude to the russians saying they were stupid and couldnt tell the time. It would be really nice to have some sun tomorrow!! I am going home in literally days now. Maya beach was lovely, we were told filming took 3 months, and they exported palm trees from phuket, and then dug them back up and took them back after the film was finished! lol.

sat 21st - one year of my career break today!! It's our last day in Krabi, we fly to bangkok again tomorrow and then after one day i fly home! I cannot believe a whole year is over. When we got to Bangkok we got a taxi, Rick the d*** didnt write down the address of the hostel he'd booked! so the driver dropped us off at the kao san road! we were only here 3 weeks ago, but it's onviously changed to peak season, it was absolutely manic, more like the bangkok i was expecting! I had to drag my two suitcases and handbag down the packed street, people were shouting at me my case was going over their feet! It was so tiring, the bags were heavy, and men selling things like hammocks were STILL shoving them in my face, even though I was dragging 3 cases really difficultly, what the hell did they expect me to buy them??!! hahaha. my large suitcase had broken on one of the flights, so it basically had one wheel and a massive rip down the whole of one side. We eventually found the hostel and it was a nice little place. after a tuk tuk driver drove us round one little corner and tried charging us 200 baht!!! rick gave him 20 baht and told him to like it!!! we got some dinner and walked down the kao san road.

mon 23rd - we got a taxi to the MGB shopping plaza and went to watch the new moon, the second film in the twilight saga. it was better than we expected, it's weird because I watched the first film when rick left me in cairns, and this tim im leaving him in bangkok to come home, and in the film edward leaves bella. After packing all my bags up, I got a taxi outside the hostel, and immediately burst into tears, I was absolutely sobbing. Rick said he might go back to koh samui for a few weeks, then pop bakc to bangkok to pick up his suits and come straight home to me. It feels very bewildering, the thought of going back to the UK. If I'm honest there is a part of me that thinks he may be away longer, because when people ask him, he says he doesnt know. But I hope he is only a few weeks! its going to be very odd.

tues 24th - fly home to england!! bangkok airport is amazing! Think nadine changed my seat for me. the girl at the desk said im only allowed 1 bag, i said NOooo I have paid for 2 online. She checked and then said oh yyyyyeah. she was so busy chatting to her colleagues she was not paying attention to me at all. I didnt care to be honest I was a bit dazed and didnt know what i was doing!! Its going to be a long flight, I miss Rick already, and I miss Thailand, I really enjoyed the last month, even with the bad weather. I am looking forward to seeing everyone again, but am slightly daunted about being home again. so... alas my trip is over. I have had the best time, have found the love of my life, and have lots to look forward to!!

Same date 24th - 6am landed at terminal 3, Jess came running up to me, we both had a cry, it was lovely to see her again. We got home, everything looked the same! she said nothing has changed in the area. We dragged all the bags upstairs, after saying hello to reggie and ronnie! i'm not sure they knew who i was!! we waited for mum to get in from work, and surprised her. Then I went round to my nan's and hid in her wardrobe and surprised nan and uncle lee. Then in the evening, I turned up to the pre planned surprise and met a few of my friends, and surprised hannah and sally, and it was really really great to see them, I missed them so much. It's lovey to be back together again. They are all desperate to meet the boy that has tamed me now!! I have a few days to adjust and sort my room out etc. Then I have hannah and jamie's engagement party to look forward to. Then on monday 30th I start back at work!! Everything is happening, but it's good because otherwise I would be sitting around thinking about things! lol. The first day was great, now I am on a bit of an anti climax, because eveythingis back to normal, and travelling feels like a dream like I never actually did it. It's the best thing I have ever done, I am a much happier person, and I don't regret one thing. Hope you've enjoyed reading about my little adventure! Thanks for keeping up.
