Hi Amy (and friends) just had a look at photos - brillliant, brings your blog alive even more. i've sent you a couple of messages but they don't appear on your message board, so I'm hoping this one reaches you. Knowing me, I've done it incorrectly, so fingers crossed

No exciting news to give you other than I've sprained my ankel so am forced to stay at home for a few days (how terrible) which I enjoyed the first day, but daytime TV is torture. Talk about the lowest common denomenator; do the programme makes assume we're all brainless? Aaaarrgghhhh. So have found a great book to read instead.

Going to two weddings next week - first one in Somerset on 18th, a pagan wedding for my lesbian friends which will be crazeee but wonderful, then driving straight from there up to Northumberland for Ryan's celebration wedding party. Will force me not to drink too much on 18th.

Seems like you've managed to squeeze a lot in in a short amount of time - although I also have many stories to share with you when I see you next - imagine what it'll be like after a year ;)

Anyway, I'm supposed to be working today and I'm failing miserably, so I thought of you - it's sad I no longer have anyone to compare my boredom with. Can't really do the same with people I work with otherwise they'll give me more work to do!

Really pleased it's all going well, and glad you're keeping us updated too. I'll be mourning your departure when I go back to Bury for a few days in a couple of weeks - we plan to take a picture with us wherever we go...
